Crafted from high carbon spring steel as per the standard and stainless steel grades, our wave washers feature a curvilinear shape and can be manufactured using various raw materials such as tempered steel and copper. The wave designs offset the spring force, acting as a preload between two surfaces.

Spring Rate

The spring rate of our wave washers is determined by the number of waves in the spring design raised to the fourth power. Depending on requirements, the number of waves can vary. The spring rate indicates the washers’ capacity, describing the relationship between applied loads and deflections. Increasing the number of waves enhances its capacity, while increasing thickness boosts load capacity and reduces spring rates.

Types of Wave Washers
